Critical Race Theory: The New Tower of Babel.

The Human Race after the Great Flood ( given witness by both biblical and non-biblical literature of antiquity) had two objectives according to the Holy Bible, both of which were ungodly. Under the leadership of a man called Nimrod which means rebel or revolt, the first objective of the Post-Diluvian peoples was to create a great name for themselves, and themselves alone. The second objective was to prevent YAHWEH “The Self-Existent Active One” from destroying the Peoples through judgement.

“And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shi’nar and they dwelt there. And they said one to another; Go and let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go and let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make a name, unless we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.”(Genesis 11:2–4 KJV)

Bad decision…

Yet let us remember that at their time “the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech” (Gen- 11:1). Let us further recall, (or here I invite the reader to investigate for themselves) that the Book of Genesis chapter 10 is often called “The Table of Nations” by Jewish and Christian scholars alike, for it describes the re-population of planet earth through a man named Noah (sole ruler and governor of the world at this time) and through the progeny of his three sons Ham, Shem, Japheth

Brief history lesson…

“And he [Noah] said cursed be Ca’-na-an; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said , Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Ca’na-an shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Ja’pheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Ca’na-an shall be his servant.” (Genesis 9:25–27)

The blessings of Noah’s son Shem is spiritual in virtue. The historical person of Shem himself will be blessed as well as the perpetuation of his progeny into the future. It is through the blood-line of Shem that we get the Persian peoples (Elam), the Assyrians (Asshur), the Lydians of Asia-Minor (Lud), the Syrians (Aram). Furthermore, this blessing of Shem would have ramifications towards the eternal trajectory of the Human Race, for it is from Arphaxad (Gen. 10:22) that we get a man called Abram, who would later be called Abraham “The Exalted Father of Many”. It is from this Abraham that we get both the Hebrew people and the Jewish nation, and it is from this nation that my Lord Jesus Christ “Yeshua-Ha-Mashiach” was incarnated in the flesh. Shem is the patriarch of all semitic peoples.

The very name Japheth means “to enlarge”, and God’s prophecy over the man Japheth was sure ( as is the rest of Holy Writ.). He is the patriarch of the Indo-European peoples that criss-cross the coasts of Western Europe all the way to the river Ganges is India! It is from his seed that we have the Germanic peoples “Gomer” including the primordial Celtic, Spanish, and French inhabitants. Also the Russian nation “Magog, Tubal, Meshech”, Iran & Iraq “Madai”, and of course the famous, or infamous (depending on your Race-Theory these days) Greek-speaking peoples “Javan”.

Ham and his descendants would be the first to dominate the world after the Flood. It is from his loins that form the nuclei of the African and Far-Eastern folk. Ham’s son Cush would form the beginnings of Ethiopia, Mizraim is Egypt, and Cush’s son Nimrod “began to be a mighty one in the earth”(Gen.10:8) being the founder of Shinar “Babylonia”. So was Ham cursed? This question has led scholars and social activists alike, many of which have contributed or proponents of The Critical Race Theory into political , philosophical, and social error. “And he said cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his bretheren.”(Gen.9:25).

Come now, let us reason together…

Noah cursed Canaan.

Ham is the Father of Canaan.

Canaan was cursed and not Ham.

Many have confused this ancestral curse as placed upon Ham, and consequently the “Black-African” race as a whole, which in the past four centuries has sparked anti-biblical ideologies that have interwoven itself within philosophical, theological, and legal traditions even at this present hour (It is now 2021 A.D). Ironically, there is reliable historical evidence that some of the nations denominated from Canaan, and perhaps Canaan himself, was in fact “white”. Even so, this is not the point of this essay here. So let us return to the historical fact that “the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech”. God had expressly commanded the post-flood peoples to not centralize themselves in one location through a positive directive.

“And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth” (Genesis 9:1)

It is against the back-drop of God’s positive command to “replenish the earth” that we see the height of human arrogance, so quickly after the flood might I add, in this particular generations negative ambition to “build us a city and a town” so as to “reach unto heaven” whereby making a name of fame for themselves so that they won’t “be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth”.

Then came time for their Visitation…

“Come, let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) go down and there confuse and mix up their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the surface of the entire earth; and they stopped building the city. Therefore the name of the city was Babel — because there the Lord confused the language of the entire earth; and from that place the Lord scattered and dispersed them over the surface of all the earth.” (Genesis 11:7–9 Amplified Bible)

What are we to glean from these supernatural and primeval passages in reference to the relationship between Race, Racism, and Power? Point number one; All power belongs to God “ El-Shaddai”. The scripture is clear that the LORD starts races and he finishes races. Furthermore to take the position that race is either entirely a mythical human construct, in its marxist/socialistic sense, or conversely that race is the predominant factor, in a nationalistic sense, would be both unbiblical and unhistorical. And, perchance if the reader would take issue with this writers biblical stance on the Critical Race Theory, I would further argue that (a) The bible is the greatest historical resource (i.e content, reliability, accuracy) known to civilization and (b) Many of the great personages that CRT theorists claim lineage to ( i.e Dr. Martin Luther King, Harriet tubman and so forth) were decidedly Christian in their religious beliefs, and consequently biblical in their world-view. Point number two; Racism is a Sin problem. The Sin problem began with the supernatural origin of Evil, therefore the Sin question requires a supernatural solution (which came over 2000 years ago through the progeny of Shem, the seed of Abraham, and the lineage of King David).

“You cannot solve problems with the same level of conciousness that created the” — Albert Einstein

The socio-politics of a given community, city, state or nation are magnifiers of mankind’s, and womankind’s, depravity and inability to solve the cosmic chaos that began in the Genetic Nimrods of Humanities DNA (I use some prophetic-license here). This is to say that while much good can be done through social-political means, most will remain unsolved till a future time.

Point number three: A Word of Warning. However well intentioned CRT scholars, activists, or proponents may be, and I believe that many are, the constant construction and deconstruction of social-political-racial theories so as to find the ultimate “theories of theories” is indeed a Tower of Babel (Confusion). The ancient Babylonians called the Tower Bab-ilu which means “Gates of Heaven”, so it is still unclear if Nimrod’s citizens were seeking to truly reach heaven, or had established an idolatrous ziggurat. Yet it is clear to this writer that the grasping search for a universal theory now , and throughout the ages, is both confusion and idolatry. May the reader recollect another “Nimrod” of history, a German Fuhrer in the mid- 1900’s. He and the Nazi party also had a universal Race-Theory with its corresponding Final Solution. Unity and Peace are not the goals in a sinful world: better division than collective apostasy.

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth, I came not to send peace but a sword” — Jesus

How intriguing it is that Hitler, a type of Nimrod, would boast of a Third Reich that would last for 1000 years.

But then came the day of The Reich’s Visitation…

D-Day and V-Day dramatically cut short the life span of that “eternal” Third Reich ( I give myself license for sarcasm here!). Beloved, there is coming a man, The God-Man Jesus, and He will rule and reign on earth for 1000 years (Revelation 20:6). This man Jesus is the Final Solution to the One problem that gave birth to all of humanities troubles. This man Jesus doesn’t just bring solutions, in a philanthropic or humanitarian sense, rather He is Salvation. His name is Yeshua, which being interpreted means “God is Salvation”.

“I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” — Jesus (Jn. 8:12)

Dear reader, would you like to have this Light today? Because you can! You can have a loving God ruling and abiding in your heart at this very moment “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life”(John. 3:16) and scripture further states “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). If you have yet to accept Jesus in your life, read this aloud from your heart:

I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and that His blood washed away all my sins. I believe that after His death, Jesus rose on the third day with all power in His hands. I believe that Jesus is Lord and Savoir and He will come again. Satan, I am no longer yours, and from now and forever more I will serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, mind, and soul. Here I am, Lord: send me, I’ll go! Here I am, Lord: us me for Your glory.

To God be all the Honor, Power & Glory
